The Cloisters (and Fort Tryon!)

About a year ago, I had my first summer off in many many years. It was also my last summer in NYC, so I did a lot of Last Things. I hadn’t been to the Cloisters in nearly a decade, so thought I’d come back for a revisit. I’m not quite so into medieval art, but wanted to come back to Fort Tryon and wander the general space. I posted a few to Instagram after this little field trip, but realized there were many more I wanted to share and never got around to. So here they are, little captures of things I saw or found interesting/amusing.

One of the Unicorn Tapestries (as seen in Harry Potter)! And a wall detail.

Textures.
